Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who was special guest at the book launch of Twinkle Khanna in Mumbai, said his friend is an expert at ‘insulting people’.
Aamir Khan had worked with Twinkle Khanna in 2000 film ‘Mela’, directed by Dharmesh Darshan which failed to create magic at the box office.
The 40-year-old actress and a mother of two, who is famous as a columnist, was with her family including husband Akshay Kumar, son Aarav, mom Dimple Kapadia and sister Rinke Khanna at the launch of her book ‘Mrs FunnyBones.”
Twinkle’s close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar, also hosted a roast kind of ‘Koffee with Karan’ with the author and Aamir Khan.
Karan asked Aamir did he think Twinkle was a good actress? To that, Aamir jokingly replied: “I thought she was fantastic.”
“All of us have different abilities and Twinkle is really talented in some of the most amazing activities like insulting people, she is an expert in insulting people. All through my life, since I’ve known her she has just constantly insulted me,” he added.
The book launch also saw Twinkle’s husband Akshay Kumar, mother Dimple Kapadia, veteran actress Jaya Bachchan, Sussanne Roshan and Sonali Bendre in attendance.
